  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dogwood. Dr. Chris and Jerrica are absolutely exceptional. I brought my dog Reyna (11F) here for a corrective surgery after a previous surgery elsewhere did not resolve her issue. From our very first visit, Dr. Chris took the time to truly understand Reyna’s situation and explain the underlying medical issue in a way that made sense. He used a whiteboard and models to walk me through what was happening, showed me comparison X-rays from successful surgeries, and reviewed Reyna’s own imaging with me. He was honest and realistic about what could be done to help her, which gave me confidence moving forward. The surgery itself was performed beautifully. The incision is incredibly neat, with careful subdermal suturing, and Dr. Chris developed an excellent pain-management plan for Reyna. The entire team clearly prioritizes animal comfort and well-being, and that care shows in every detail. Even small things—like providing Reyna with a lighter, narrower cone and using a nerve block during surgery—made a stressful experience feel much more manageable for both of us. Dr. Chris and Jerrica spent at least an hour and a half combined with me before and after surgery, patiently explaining what had happened, what they found, and what our path forward would look like. Their compassion, expertise, and attention to detail were beyond what I could have hoped for. I have already contacted our primary veterinarian to let them know that Dogwood is a surgery practice I would strongly recommend to other pet owners. Reyna and I are incredibly grateful to have found them. If Dogwood performs a surgery, I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with Reyna’s care. We are incredibly grateful to have found them.

  Dr. Carter is the absolute best vet we have ever had. Knowledgeable, caring and kind are just a few words to describe him and the Dogwood staff. We got very lucky to have such amazing people to take care of our pups!

  Dogwood Veterinary Clinic provides a deeply calming and reassuring environment. From the moment I walked in, the reception team was incredibly warm and welcoming. The facility itself is fantastic—bright, exceptionally clean, and fresh-smelling. They even offer special amenities designed to soothe anxious pets and give owners total peace of mind. I highly recommend them!

  We had such a great experience at Dogwood. We took our dog Hank in for a second opinion regarding a possible torn ACL/CCL. Dr. Chris was very through with his explanation and options along with possible outcomes,etc. We felt very comfortable with moving forward with surgery in his care. He has been very responsive with after care questions even via email over the weekend. Great staff and care. Highly recommend!
